She’s sexy, blunt and ever so talented. If you haven’t checked out her music yet, now is the time. I fell in love with her over the song Bobby, Baby… a song which I continuously sing. A special thanks to Maggie Benoit for her awesome styling and art direction. Maggie will be working with me on many future Athens Music Project shoots. She has an awesome eye! Thanks also to Sannie Baumgaertner for the amazing clothing loaned from her collection. Be sure to check out her collection! I’ve been wanting to shoot this guy for a while now… for about 3 years. Justin is quite a musical staple in Athens, so I knew I had to shoot him for my Athens Music Project. Not only is he an awesome musician, he’s also an awesome photographer. Coincidentally, he was who I interned with when I was in college. Poor guy. It’s amazing a wonder any of his lights still work with my clumsy ever so gentle touch.

You might recognize the guy in the middle as Ethan Payne from this shoot. Ethan and his brother Asher (far right), along with Nathan Thompson and Andrew Terrell, form the band Easter Island. They’re an Athens band and are the first band to be shot for my Athens Music Project. Not a bad start, if I do say so myself. Be sure to check out their stuff. It’s a nice mix between Cold Play and Bon Iver.
